January Prayer Focus:
Preparation
-Pray that I may stay diligent in preparing my mind, heart and body for this trip.
-Pray that God would settle my heart - I'm feeling somewhat anxious. Not just about the coming trip, but especially some of the details I will need to take care of before I go.
-Pray that funds will continue to come in as the trip nears.
December Prayer Focus:
Communication
- Many people are asking about the trip. Pray that I can be faithful in updating this blog and in completing my support letter/newsletter so that I can share information and excitement about the trip.
- Pray that more and more people will be interested in the trip. Ask God to help members of the team communicate with these people - there may still be some that God will add to the team. Pray also that those interested would find ways to support the team members (monetarily, prayer, etc.).
- Pray for the team as we have started communicating with each other in preparation for the trip. Pray that we may be unified as we prepare for learning and growth.
November Prayer Focus:
Fundraising
- The trip is expensive. Please pray that I can raise the money. I have three specific 'leads' on funds. Two are scholarships. Pray that these opportunities pan out so I won't have to panhandle.
- I am also working on a support letter. Pray that I will know which people to send the letter to. Pray for them even now - that God would soften their heart to giving toward my trip.
